Python Network Automation Services

I’m Imran Sarwar. I combine network infrastructure and NOC/data center experience with Python development to help teams investigate operational problems and automate repeatable work.

Discuss an existing automation script, a multi-vendor device workflow, or an internal Flask application. Start with your current problem, device platforms and expected outcome so we can assess technical fit and agree on a practical scope.

Support for the work your team needs to deliver

Work directly with me on a defined technical problem: a Python script that fails across device platforms, an operational workflow that needs automation, or an internal application that needs to integrate infrastructure data. Review my hands-on automation projects before sharing your requirements.

Python network automation and Netmiko troubleshooting

Discuss inventory parsing, SSH connection handling, vendor-specific commands, prompt detection, timeouts, per-device logging and configuration verification. A useful starting point is a sanitized failure log and a small lab reproduction of the issue.

Review my multi-vendor Netmiko automation implementation.

Network infrastructure troubleshooting and operational support

Get a scope review for connectivity investigation, switching and access issues, network symptoms, inventory quality or repetitive NOC reporting. The investigation should separate network evidence from endpoint, application and service dependencies before proposing a change.

Read my NOC troubleshooting case study.

For an operational issue rather than an automation build, see remote network infrastructure support and troubleshooting.

Python Flask applications and REST API integration

Discuss an internal dashboard, administrative workflow or integration that brings infrastructure data and operational actions into a clearer interface. My portfolio includes a Flask-based OpenStack Keystone identity management application and certificate-management workflows.

Explore the Flask and OpenStack REST API project.

Define a useful first deliverable

Your problem A possible scoped deliverable Evidence to share first
A Netmiko script fails on some devices Review findings, a proposed correction and platform-specific validation steps Sanitized script, traceback, device types and software versions
Device inventories need manual cleanup Inventory parsing and classification workflow with exception reporting A representative sanitized inventory and required output
User or configuration checks are repetitive An approved automation workflow with per-device results and acceptance checks Current commands, target scope and expected state
An internal dashboard needs infrastructure data A Flask/API integration prototype or targeted improvement API documentation, application stack and workflow requirements

The deliverable, implementation responsibilities and price are agreed after review. These examples describe work to scope, not prepackaged guarantees.

Remote collaboration for USA, UK and European teams

I am based in the UAE (UTC+4) and welcome English-language project inquiries from the United States, United Kingdom and Europe. Share your time zone and preferred meeting or maintenance window; working overlap and availability are confirmed before an engagement.

Initial review can start with sanitized code, logs and a workflow description. If access is needed, we agree on a client-approved remote session or controlled access method, permitted actions and the person responsible for production approvals. Written findings and handover notes support collaboration between time zones.

You work directly with Imran Sarwar on the agreed scope. A new automation task, a review of an existing script and follow-up implementation support can be discussed separately. No US, UK or European local office is represented by this remote service.

How a production-support engagement starts

  1. Understand the environment: device vendors and versions, application stack, affected workflow and business impact.
  2. Review evidence: sanitized logs, expected versus actual behavior, known changes and a reproducible example where possible.
  3. Agree on scope: deliverables, access arrangements, availability, fees and responsibility for approvals.
  4. Validate the approach: use a lab or staging environment, define acceptance checks and document the recovery procedure before a production change.
  5. Hand over the result: explain changes, test evidence, limitations and the steps your team will maintain.

Production access, change windows and response expectations are agreed per engagement. This page invites scoped technical work; it does not establish a managed-service SLA or continuous monitoring arrangement.

Choosing SSH, NETCONF, RESTCONF or an API

The right interface depends on your devices, supported capabilities and task. My documented implementation evidence is strongest in Python/Netmiko and Flask/REST API applications. NETCONF, RESTCONF and YANG are part of my network programmability foundation; device-specific delivery scope needs assessment and validation.

Read the Netmiko vs NETCONF vs RESTCONF guide for a practical comparison, or browse the Python network automation portfolio.

Questions before hiring remote automation support

Can you work with an existing Python or Netmiko script?

Yes, you can request a review of an existing workflow. Start with sanitized code, the failure output, device platforms and expected behavior. I assess fit before agreeing to changes or delivery dates.

Can the work involve a running production network?

Production-related work can be discussed, with scope, authorization, staging checks, change approval and recovery arrangements agreed in advance. An initial inquiry does not establish emergency or on-call coverage.

Do you offer NETCONF and RESTCONF implementation?

These interfaces can be discussed during technical assessment. My published implementation evidence is strongest in Netmiko CLI automation and Flask/REST API applications. Device capability checks and a validated prototype come before a commitment to a particular protocol or platform.

What do you need to estimate the work?

Describe the current workflow, affected systems, expected result, deadline and available test environment. Include a sanitized example if possible. Fees and schedule follow a scope discussion; no fixed price or response time is assumed.

Tell me what needs to work

Use the project inquiry form below and include:

  • Your organization, country/time zone and preferred contact details.
  • The problem, affected systems and expected result.
  • Device vendors, operating systems or application frameworks.
  • Whether you need debugging, a new workflow or support for an existing project.
  • Deadline, maintenance window and any access constraints.

Keep credentials and sensitive configurations out of an initial inquiry. Students seeking SRS, design, prototype or viva guidance should use the Pakistan student project help desk.
